You can find the flow of the Deerfield River right now reported in cubic feet per second.  The US Geological Survey displays the flows in a graph that looks like the one below.  The graph below shows the hydropeaking of the river at Charlemont due to hydroelectric dam releases from the upstream Fife Brook Dam.  “Cubic Feet per Second” is a measurement that reports the volume of water passing a point along the river EVERY SECOND!
