Watching the River Flow

Join DRWA this Saturday, June 21 for a hike along the Cold and Deefield Rivers in Charlemont, MA. This special educational hike is sponsored by a UMass initiative called RiverSmart, whose mission is in part to educate the public about how rivers move over time, eroding banks and depositing new sediment elsewhere. Learn more on our hikes and bikes page.
