Late Summer Wildflower Hike- September 10, 2023 Shelburne, MA

On Sunday, September 10, the Deerfield River Watershed Association, in collaboration with the Town of Shelburne Open Space Committee, Arm’s Library, and the Shelburne Falls Senior Center, invites you to explore late summer wildflowers of the meadows and woodlands within the Mass Audubon High Ledges Wildlife Sanctuary in Shelburne, MA.  Peggy Warwick, of the Shelburne Open Space Committee, will lead this moderate, 1.4 mile round-trip hike.

These flower blooms are an important late season nectar source for our insects, moths, and butterflies.

We will meet on the steps of Arms Library in Shelburne Falls on Sunday, September 10, at 9 AM to carpool to the High Ledges, or meet at the High Ledges parking area just off Patten Road in Shelburne, at 9:15.

Feel free to register at drwa@deerfieldriver.org for notification of any potential rain date.
