Volunteers Needed for Benthic Macroinvertebrate Studies

The Deerfield River Watershed Association is seeking interested volunteers to participate in our 2011 macroinvertebrate monitoring program
by collecting critters that live int he river bed.

Collecting the critters is a lot of fun and you are under the supervision of aquatic entomologist Michael Cole at all times. You get to know parts of the watershed you've never visited before, and you get to know the bugs who live in the river--fly fishermen take notice!

Contact Mike at 413-774-5515 for more information and to volunteer.
